Sidekick Temp

The temp gage on my 1600cc Sidekick never goes beyond the 11 o'clock position, even in summer. Is this normal?

My wifes 92 Sidekick always runs at the same point as well. Usually if you vehicle is running to cool there will be a milky buildup in the oil. If there is no buildup then I would say this is normal. You could however change the temp of the thermostat if you wanted it to get it to run a bit cooler.
I'm assuming that your gauge is horizontal if it is vertical then I guess its running hot if so repost and I will give you some ideas there.
