friend of mine has a set of 33x12.5 aurora mt's that he bought a couple months ago before he sold his truck and bought a brand new ranger, I could get em for $500. anyone have experience with them? how about compared to BFG A/T KO's?

Depends what you want to use them for. I find the bfg' at's really bite off-road. So thats why i use them on the street. On the other hand I cant stand drivin my muds everyday on the street. They suck in the rain and wear out alot quicker but look way meaner.

Hey crazyguy, We sell those Auroras at Abbsry. ( they were possibly purchased here?) So far we have'nt heard anything bad about them. I mean they are what we call entry level tire IE: inexpensive. But for the money they will probably do just fine, mabye not as much treadwear or overall toughness as say... a bfg but the tread pattern is very similar to the bfg's.If they are near new i'd say yor getting a good deal. We sell them for $665 new.

forgot to mention that most of my driving is on pavement. havn't done much off roading since I got rid of my cherokee and started driving my fullsize jeep(to damn low to do much).
on my cherokee I had a set of 31x10.5 BFG AT's pre KO that were around 30-40%, they got my up to sunrise at 20psi when it was dry, eagle ridge at 18psi wet. thats the only tires i've ever driven on offroad other than a set of 235 uniroyal tiger paws up sunrise once before I lifted the front and put the 31's on.
Lemonator: yah he bought them at the abbotsford Abbsry location. can you get or do you have BFG A/T's? if so what do they go for?

im waiting till I put a new "breathed into" engine together before I get new tires. id like to put 33's on, maybe even 35's but that would definetly need re-gearing first.
