I know it's a sad question...but my Zuki sounds so sad. Would it make is sound like a ricer, or give it a deeper rumble?

Cherry Bombs, Purple Hornies, Glasspacks, They're all the same, I don't think they make a deeper sound, mostly just louder. In my experience with them, they sound like they're worth $30. I've never used them on anything other than V8, but with a V8 I'd spend the extra bucks for decent muffler.

30 bucks!? thats it!? phew..I thought I'd be dishing like...100 for that crap. yeah same question...if it makes your truck sound like a gay ricer FORGET IT! does it make a good deep sound? you know...that one when it sounds like shes chugging gas like a 40 year old 300 lb man at his favorite ball game.

Yup.. they're 27 bucks or something like that... but they will make a four or six cyl truck sound like a Honda... guaranteed. A buddy of mine threw one on his 4.3L Blazer, and even it sounded throaty in a high-pitch whine kind of way.
If you're looking for something in that price range that will sound a little bit better, go with a Thrush muffler, (i.e. the boss turbo/turbo boss??? I forget the name but it's something like that). Cheap, but with a much deeper sound to it. It'll also be a bit quieter, which is good because the glasspacks can be loud as hell.

With the Aerostar "headers", dual cats off a 400cid 79 T-bird, dual 2" (or thereabouts) pipes, dual glasspacks, and Mustang GT slash-cut tailpipes, Broncenstein sounds like a rather large (more like "GARGANTUAN"!) swarm of bees with a SEVERE attitude problem (especially when the 2.8 winds up to over 6500 rpm).

A bit loud? Yes, but not loud enough to overpower the whine of the gears in my tranny or the sweet sounds of Mudder-hum on the highway.

Sound like a ricer? Only if you run one of those dumbass "Folger's"-brand resonators. Broncenstein has never been accused of sounding like the riced-out Hondas I dislike so much...

Will it help or hinder the performance? Hard to say. If I was going to replace mine, I'd go with another pair of glasspacks. They have more clearance under the cab than trying to run a pair of regular mufflers, and I'm not really too concerned with the noise levels anyway. Its all just music to my ears:redneck

Try A 'Raptor' muffler, they are $28 at UAP & sound good on 6 bangers (had one on a 250 Chev), I put one w/1 7/8" pipe on my old Sprint, sounded like a dirt bike :soso
