I signed my life away this afternoon to Yamaha for an '07 Grizzly 700 FI. Got a Tamarack flat box for the front, an open rack for the back and a 20L gas can rack that hangs off the rear and a gun boot that I haven't decided where its going to mount yet. Grant also swapped out the silver wheels for a set of black ones and its the green paint scheme, plus a set of PIAA Extreme white headlights (generator's already pretty tapped on those for power so I hope they'll do for now). I haven't had the chance to ride one with the power steering yet but I hear it'll be a real treat. I don't have pics yet and I don't get back into Merritt until the 23rd but I'll grab some pics when I get a chance. Just thought I'd share/brag! :finger_1:

Cool, Sounds like a nice machine...So if you're on the road so much when are you gonna ride it?
Hey why not let me break it in for you...Hmm, silly question.

No doubt, I got it setup more for heading out into the bush for a week at a time (more my style).
Buying this is kinda two fold for me, one its actually a source of exercise since I'm stuck in the truck all the time, and two I'll be living in Merritt by this summer so its parked up there. We're up on Foxfarm Rd so its literally a jump under the Coq and I can be on quad trails all the way to Princeton if I want and beyond. A buddy in town who has that 450 Kodiak is planning on a 700 Grizz as well (his wife'll get the 450) so its working out pretty good there, plus its on 3 acres so there's tons of storage. I was going to build that dirt track car but got sidetracked and got this instead, plus there's 3 mechanics races this year so I'll race a bit anyways.
Oh, and yeah Corey I was just talking to Cheryl about the trailer and I'm interested, it should work perfectly. It just has to have decent tires and axle that's highway driveable, that's all. LR

Yeah, I was checking out the site, very informative. I'll sign up tonight and see if I can get my handle.
It's locked when not in use in the garage which is guarded by an alarm system and a rather mean bull mastiff cross, then by the owner who sleeps very lightly and is very, very well armed LOL Which reminds me, I gotta insure it...

Why don't you break your new ride in at the ATV/BC poker ride June 22-24 in Logan Lake?

:redneck Hell ya!! I'm off June 23,24 and Mike Klaptein and I are planning on going up so I'll run it by him. We can throw them on the flatdeck and head on up. Thanks for the heads up. Where abouts is it all happening? LR
