I understand that lars is a busy guy and has lots of other things on the go.and he dose a awsome job with this bord.But in my defence in the last year there has been many enquyeres(spl?) about the stickers and there has been so many diferent ansers people have even offered to buy these stickers for more then what they coast and still no anser or an anser we were not looking for.
So if lars is getting sticker made way cool and I would still like to get one ether through my 4WDABC membership or I will even buy one.

Being the huge stickler that I am for detail (yah, right)

4WDABC and BC4x4 are two complete seperate entities. So unless Im missing the obvious, joining 4WDABC does not get one a BC4x4 sticker (or vice versa).

If you were a member of the 4wdabc Lars would give you bc4x4.com sticker.Now I don't know if he is still doing this but that would be Y this post origanaly started.It has nothing to do with the 4wdabc it has to do with bc4x4.com.
If I am not right please corecet me and I apolagise if this info is not right this is just what I have been told.

When we last made stickers Larry and I decided that we would only give them to people who are members of 4WDABC. If you wanted to get a BC4x4 sticker you had to join 4WDABC or be an existing member. There has never been any connection between the BC4x4 and 4WDABC other than Larry and I both being members of 4WDABC through the IRC. No connection ever was implied.

As far as availability of stickers, both Larry and myself have a lot on our plate, stickers just aren't high on the priority and they are only done when money is available to do them.

Even though we offered to give them away almost everyone who asked for one insisted on paying for the sticker.

Hey if you guys need help let us know, I can run to a vinyl sticker maker in town. Since the stickers a re mailed usually what difference does it make whether they come from Prince George or Vancouver or Cache Creek (Cept those yokels don't havea vinyl sticker shop :p ) If lars or Wil want to give me the dimensions (font size) and text (font style) I will take 15 minutes out of my day to go get some made up...I will even put in 50$ to get them made if Lars and Wil don't have 'float' for this expense. They can charge accordingly. I think most people would agree to pay a few dollars, get a sticker, and at the same time support the board...maybe charge 10$ a sticker depending on the actual cost to BC4x4....Lars or Wil let me know please...

I'd be willing to pay for a sticker, even prepay if i was sure i'd get one. would they be the type that goes across the windshield? off the topic, how does one join 4wdabc and is there any point if i can't attend meetings? since i live in the 'wack i can't see i'll be driving out for meetings but if more members does some good i'd consider it.

you can go to the 4wdabc web site to get more info, or go here http://www.4wdabc.ca/pdf/JoinUs.pdf for the for to join. We do need more people who are able to attend meeting and volunteer time, but the more members the Assoc has the better.
