Ok i got to know if i should buy a 80"s ford f 350 dana 60 front end for my 76 f 250.Now i know it wont just bolt up but will it work at all ?Will i have to spend to much money to make it worth my time?So if anyone knows anything about doing these i would like to know :help :welder :help

I think the frame on the 76 is to narrow to accept the axle from an 80+ so the leaf springs won't line up with the frame, but I haven't done a D60 swap before only a D44 so maybe I'm wrong.

The front spring will sit right smack on top of the pumpkin :eek:
The spring spacing on a truck like yours is 31-32" and the newer one is 36". You might be able to use it if you outboard your front springs and use cross-over steering.

the front end of an 80s d60 is alot different from yours but if you know of a dana 60 front for a 80s truck for my 80 f250 i might be interested in it
