New winch $550?

Princess Auto has a big sale on right now. and among their many deals they have a bunch of brand new 8000 lb winches for $555! Here is the kicker...the brand name is KEW 8000... NEVER heard of it. Worth it? I dunno whatchathink? How bad can it be?

I talked to 2 guys at princess auto and they both say it is a Ramsey replica made by some chines company. They also said that you can only run it for 20 seconds and then you have to let it cool for 20 min. They said it was because it uses a starter motor. Dont they all? Sounds like bull or garbage.

Save a couple hundred dollars more and get a used 8274. I paid 800$ for mine and it like knew. Came with a bumper i can't use but I could sell it to someone.

You'll be sorry when that 550$ craps out in the bush.

Look around, i got my 8274 for $150, it is in great shape and saves my friends asses many times :laugh
