Cool vid for sure! Liked it 'til the last bit where it became apparent it was a typical mining companies attempt to seduce investors money! It is the mining era mind you!

The first half reminds me of going into the old Canex (Jersey) mine near Salmo. Buddies have done it on quads and it is very similar. Goes for miles underground.

So Kevin, now that I know I have reliable transportation and a fairly set schedule this summer (will be taking 2 weeks off sometime in Aug, and unless everything goes for the sh!ts before then I'll be in the bush most of that time) if you have some spare time I wouldn't mind meeting up with you and checking out some of the local mines and sights you guys got up there. I don't own a quad but I imagine I could get my hands on one if needed. LR

Hey Matthew, that sounds like it would work great! Even if you don't get a quad, I will have my XJ on the road in the next month, and most of the mines we check out are accessible by a full size. I'm in the works of setting up a quad trip with the FIBC boys for some time this summer, setting aside a week for that possibly in late July or early August. If you could get a quad, we could get you down here for then, or another time. I always look forward to showing new people our country! The only time that won't work is end of August, that is the boys trip to Trout lake, going to try to make it the last week of August for that one. Amazing country up there!

I'll PM you my phone number if you want to discuss details. If you want to check out some mines before then when time permits for you, let me know. I'm off Sat/Sundays, and usually heading out on the quad those days off.
