Does anyone know which trucks came with rear D60's with full floating 35 spline axle shafts.

I've heard '75-'86 one ton chevs, not sure though.

Rumour has it that ALL vans(that had D60's) from '79 to '90 had 35spl.

Edit --> opps, that is ONLY on E250's

Ok, found it. I look up Dodge/Ford/Chevy/IH adn Jeep for 1967-78
Only thing I could find for a 35 spline Dana 60 FF, is:
Chevy G300 Van with 125" wheel base 1973-78
and a
Chevy G300 Van with 146" wheel base 1975-78.
Both are over 80" wide
This axle shaft is also the same part number on a Dana 70 axle.
So, look for a Dana 60 that will take Dana 70 axle shafts and swap. one thing to rmember is the shortest Dana 70 rear shaft is 34.5"

Now, do you want the semi floating stuff?

After a bit of digging I found that between '75-77 chev 3/4 ton trucks used 35 spline axles, I don't know if they are the c clip style though.

The reason I would like this is because I want to use my HP D60 and use the spindles and axles from a 35 spline D60. I would like it to measure 68" WMS to WMS.

Ok, your talking about a Chevy 14 bolt. i gather this by the year, as Dana didn't supply the Trucks with a rear axle.
Do not the 14Bolt has 30 splines on a 1.5" shaft. However the shaft necks down, more one some than others.

give more detail as to what your doing.
