LOCAL MINES

Hey are there any local mine close to MapleRidge that are fairly accesable i like check that type of stuff ou always makes for a good day trip. Already been to caroline mines but want to know of more.

so if any one has info let me know

There is a small adit on the west side of the road I think its 4or 6 km marker on the road that goes from inch creek to chehalis.NORISH CREEK it's just after the gravel pits and long before the water resivor. There is also the emancipation mine on the road to caroline but you can only drive half way to it then walk the rest. This is a bad time of year for that one. Silver creek at harrison has a adit and a shaft above it. The shaft will be flooded till september.Harrison west has some as well but I never looked for them. Pitt lake has a couple but you need a boat. The more reasearch you do the more things you can find but they are hard to find
