Just started driving my s10 today, and i noticed that the rear tires tend to spin when starting out. A buddy mentioned that it could be because all the powers coming from the back and theres not enough weight in the back to prevent them from spining. Does this sound right?? If so what can I do to fix this?? or what does it sound like it could be???

You could lay off the gas a little...:D If you just don't try to accelerate as quickly, you should be fine. Just don't pin it while going around a corner in the rain... fishtailing is fun, but only when they're under control and there's no one else around to potentially hit, (or curbs for that matter). :p
In a pickup in the winter, lots of people shovel snow in the bed of the truck to get more traction from the back tires... some people use sandbags etc. Basically anything you can use to create more weight in the back will help you out.
Did you check your tires? If they're bald, that might be a problem as well.

We're guys... our minds do EVERYTHING fast!! We can't help it if we have superior intelligence and the ability to follow a train of thought towards anything even REMOTELY dirty faster than the speed of sound. :D
Try to keep up eh? ;)

Only on bc4x4 can a conversation go from getting traction from rear tires, to lesbians and fat chicks.
