Radio back home did that with the DJs to settle a tie breaker... long story, but ya, half way through, you would swear they were drunk. The found the intoxication thing on google or something and stopped the contest early.

Having owned the Wii since launch I can say that it's totally worth it!

Lucky guy, I feel like a total nerd having waited in line launch day, and once in december with no luck either, and calling a few stores on an almost daily basis trying to get one.
One of my friends lined up at eb for 2 hours last monday to get his, I can't believe they are still selling out like this in january, and even more so that I still can't find one.
I wanna play with a Wii! sounds a little perverted eh? lol

Yes you can poison yourself with water its hard to believe but its possible but you have to drink allot of water. You have to over hydrate yourself to the point you flush out all your sugar and salt out of your body.

There is no way a person can hold it that long it sounds like she died from something else. You drink that much water talk about a bad case of diarrhea.

i can see a lawsuit coming on. Its known that you can die from drinking too much water. If your body can't get rid of it then ur blood takes on too much and expands.. DEATH

My friend lined up for me at Futureshop for 7 hours on launch day. I slept peacefully, unaware that he had done this for me. It was quite the awsome early Chrismas present from him. He went with his roommate to keep him company, and bought one for me while he was there, so he still has one at his house to play.

When you get it, there aren't too many games that are top notch. Here's my list :

Zelda
Madden 07
Excite Truck
Trauma Centre
Wario Ware

I've heard that Call of Duty 3 is good on the Wii, but the game in general just isn't as good as the first 2 (it switched developers, the magic isn't there), so you might give that a shot.

My friend got his Wii at a Zellers in the mall here. He was Christmas shopping with his Grandma and there were 3 just sitting there, so they bought 2.

yeah, I fianlya got one yesterday, I had to wait in line for about 1.5 hours at EB in mission and they got 6 of them in, and sold out right away, but I was lucky number 4. So far, I realy like it. Wii sports really surprised me how much fun it is. And Excite truck and Zelda both seem pretty good, although I havn't spent that much time with it yet.
