new CB

Ok I got a CB for xmas and I want to install it in my '93 pathfinder. Problem is where. I want to keep it out the way so I'm not always hitting it. Any suggestions?

You're the only person that can decide where's the best place to install your rig. It should be placed within reach and away from any airbags and heater vents. Don't forget where to route the power cables and coax. Do you have a console? Side of the console works. Under the dash somewhere. Even under the seat can work, just makes it harder to change channels, etc. Sit in the truck and hold the rig in various places. One will work. Don't forget to check your antenna swr with the proper meter before using it and have fun!
