Why doesn't BC4x4 ever get this type of drama?

I'm glad that BC4x4 doesnt get drama like that. I can read the pirate threads for my soap operas, and be happy that around here, no one has been scammed like that yet.

Thats cause everyone on this site (myself included) is to cheap to put themselves in a position to get screwed like that. Who here would pay $1800 U.S. for that cage? Call it cheap or call it not being stupid.

If you've been around here long enough you would have seen threads like that too. I can think of a couple.

Of course I'd go fill all those undercut welds, all that undercutting makes the tubing thinner in those places.

Overspray on the dash is a little tacky, I'd never get away with that in my shop

Fortuantly I have to many things to do to read all those post. But I feel for that guy, it's a bad feeling when you pick somethin up, and find that you could have done a better job yourself for the cost of a few cases of beer.

I think he also walked into the situation by not doing his homework, but yeah, that's some pretty crappy work for $1800. That's the sort of work I'd expect to see coming out someone's backyard after a weekend of drinking too much or someone who doesn't know what he's doing/doesn't care. What gets me even more is that everyone's all in on tossing the guy $20 to get it fixed. Hell no!!! Tell him to take the truck back and demand they redo it... Just my .02
