The Four Wheel Drive Association of British Columbia will be hosting our monthly Sunrise Lake/Hale Creek maintenance run on this Saturday, December 9. We meet at the Sasquatch Inn (approximately 30kms east of Mission on Hwy 7) at 9:30am and depart from there at 10:00 (SHARP!).
This month we have some facility work that needs to be done down at Hale Creek (we'll be pouring some concrete and have some other site changes which were identified last month). Additional trail segments will be determined on Saturday morning based on the number and types of vehicles participating.
Everyone is welcome to attend this last run of the year, but please be prepared for snow as well as eroded trail conditions. Last month the two trails to Hale were quite stock vehicle capable, but I do expect that the roads have continued to deteriorate as a result of the tremendous rain we've received over the last month.
