I was checked three times this season.

Saw a guy getting a ticket at the Coquihalla toll booth on Thankgiving day.

Wonder what that was for?

I guess they have to be sneaky since there are so many people out there breaking the law. I don't know about hunting but that's the way it is in the world of fishing.

I only wish there could be more enforcement. I've fished about 300 days in the last 5 years, primarily on small lakes around BC and I've only been checked for licence and proper gear 4 times, all of which have been in Region 2 (Burnaby, Squamish, Sunshine Coast x2). I'd welcome more chances to show off my licence and single barbless fly...

I got checked 4 times this year....once in Cache Creek, Twice in Hope and once in Pitt Meadows. This is my first year hunting.

In the 15 years I have fished I have never been checked....go figure..
