Where are some places in the lower mainland that I could go to to get stuff cut out of 1/8th mild steel plate. This would be in high quantity too... like 50-100 thingies every other month.

Thanks, Joe

Ooh ooh ooh, there is a guy in Port Moody that just bought a water cutter. He is new to the whole water cutting process, so you have to be a bit patient, but he is dirt cheap. Something like $10 to cut a fairly intricate piece in piece of metal about 6"X4" and 1/32" or something thick.

If you are getting a large number of pieces cut, his lack of experience shouldn't be a problem. Just get him to cut you a sample first though.

Problem is... I don't know his name. If you want it, I will find out tomorrow at work and post it here.

I don't know what the price generally is, but this guy was like 1/10 the price of some other water cutting, or laser cutting places. Plus it is cool so if your piece is painted, it won't wreck the paint. A bonus if you are getting an electrical box cut up.
