Thinking about putting on a set of 33x10.5 or 12.5 boggers on my XJ.
Just wondering how well they are on pavement, rock, mud, snow etc.
and also how the road noise is.

Thanks Chad

side traction = poo. if you go sideways on a hill around here, things can become extremely intresting.

No shyt eh? Seems he's got just about the whole series of tires in reverse order of common concensus  Considering BFG's have the absolute worst rep for sidewalls, me thinks he/she's on crack

Al Berikoff used Boggers to pretty good effect on his little Zuk/Toy buggy, and he's driven on many a side hill. I'm not saying they're great for side hills, but they didn't appear to limit him.

i think most of the people who say they are skis for side hilling have never actually had a set of them before, you can grove them to split that up they are load as hell driveing on the road, they get flat spots after a day of sitting, but ilove themi had some for my old runner and they worked great , and now i have them agian on a runner...if you want a great all around tire maybe look into the toyo tires cant remember the tire name but it got great reviews and have alot of buddys running them that love them..

None, but I have witnessed lots of them on several different trucks. I know what terrain they suck on for side movement, and know how weight plays a factor in this. Heavier the truck seems to be worse with our terrain (dirt / rotten trees and leaves). :finger_1:

My brother's EB sidehills great with boggers. By looking at the tread, you'd think they wouldn't be that good at side hills but the truck works really well.

Check out the big yellow bronco:

Usually when boggers slide, so does every other tire. They suck on smooth rock but are surprisingly decent on the street.

And any radial sidewall sucks...

Tsls Tsl/sx Iroks and Ltbs are good but boggers and Mtrs not so much and Bfgs well that goes without saying :beer_cheers:

lol, maybe we should all get boggers and put 4000lbs of lead ballast in our trucks so they work good.

If you're going for a good allround tire I'd go for Interco Trxus Mud Terrains. They are as quiet as an allterain, lots of siping...good in the rain, and good offroad with thick sidewalls....to me they are what an allterain tire should be. I love em.

But if price isn't an issue I would try Toyos....and then tell me how they are :)
