well it sort of moved around on its own today so i'll start this now.

bought a 1990 fully loaded 4runner some time around July for 800$
engine was fu@ked(but it still drove home from delta to coquitlam)
plan was to have a dd mild wheeler and spend only 5 grand
I'm over that now but still good at just under 7k.
it took awhile to get to the point its at but im working outside with
no lights:rolleyes: and it won't stop raining.

-completely rebuilt 3.0(i know i should have done 3.4 but this was cheaper)
sas trail gear 3 inch front
trail gear 4 inch leaf rear
5.29'
rear is a 99 runner rear with e-locker
replaced rear quarter panels with new sheet metal.
interior was good except for drivers seat, which i replaced.

still to come
make front and rear bumpers
sliders
make complete exhaust.
finaly paint job, paint is ok but since i did the fenders and i don't like the color it will be changed

when martz gets home i'll get him to put pictures up

well.... everyone pissed off yet?

i took some good pictures today and even put them on martz's computer.so hopefully he can put them up for me soon.

i'm now driving the thing daily, it rides and drives really nice.the auto kicks a$$ for the lazy side of me.
havn't got a chance to wheel it yet as i havn't made a front shaft yet but i think it will do great for what i've put into it.

every runner ive been in with shocks like this / \ have a floppy a$$ feeling while driving around. it seems to work ok on trucks without much weight.
it rides nice with the shock this way,not floppy at all.

don't know what colour yet.new f150's come in a colour called drak stone that i like, but who knows.

dam thing sits way too high for 3" lift springs:rolleyes:

They will be perfect once you get bumpers, sliders and a winch on there. My buddy put the TG 3's in his truck and they sat down really nice after a couple of twists in the rocks. Did you end up selling your truck?

I agree. My buddy went even further on his Explorer:

They will definatley make the truck more stable in that position. They may hinder articulation a wee-bit, but not enough for most of us to worry about.

I may try this.....one day.
