anybody been fishing at rolly lately?
how cold is it? am I going to die if i use my float tube? all I remember is my buddy getting hypothermia, this time last year when we hit up rolly
hows the fishin?
anybody fly fish it lately, i know there isnt much of a hatch right now, any suggestions for fly's? Im thinking doc spratleys or a wolly bugger

As far as I know, the gate is now closed.
If you wear a pair of neoprene waders, a pair of warm socks, and warm fleece, you should be OK. Just be aware. If you start to shiver, then get out of the water. When you stop shivering, it's not because you are warm, it's because your body is beyond it's ability of keeping youw arm and is trying to conserve all remaining energy.
Docs shouold work, and I always have good luck with burgandy leaches, and dragonfly nymphs. Fish the top and bottom sections of the lake, or where the creek runs in right across from the beach. You may want to go a bit deep, and try variable speed retrieves.
Tim...caught many a fat trout at Rolly.

yah last year when i went my buddy had a hole in his wadders, he was shivering so bad he couldnt pull them off to get into the car.
By the way, do i know you? are you from delta?

From other forums, they just stocked it last week(usually spring time) and rumour has it there are a few surprise's in there.Gate is locked no problem,park off to the right and walk in with your tube.
