hahaha yeah they are good ****. If you think about it and your not scared to death of reptiles, than they are the perfect pet. Don't bark, don't wreck the house, don't need to be walked, most of them are fed 2 times a month, (snakes) food per month for all of these guys is less than $60 a month. But you know its got it + & -we also have two dogs, a great Dane and a mix collie whippet chow.

the great Dane (Obie) is very skinny in this pic, we saved him from a very bad home, he was only allowed in the small laundry room and a small patch of grass. 90% of these reptiles were also rescued

I have a red tail columbian boa just like yours and I love her so much. I had a few more reptiles a while ago (chamelion, gekko, dragon, scorpion and a ball python) but now I'm down to one. But I have a snake and she's bout 5.5' long an lots of fun.
She mostly comes out when my friends are drunk cause everyone is scared of her.
I will get some pics.

My wife wants to get a lizard of some kind. What's a good one to get? Not to big ( we have a 20 gal. tank now, don't want to buy another) easy to care for, and not a snake, because if there is a snake in my house, I won't be in my house. Just curious because I know nothing about them.

they are VERY small... Mine now are 1 year old and size of a loonie. Max out at 4.5 inches. They are a water turtle. Very cool little guys, some times called Stink Pot turtles. Found all over north america I guess. I have never seen one but have seen many red ear sliders. I understand now why I have never seen one, they are so small.
