That can change very quickly, within the next couple weeks you could maybe expect snow. Sticking to the major routes is best.

I-5 to Seattle, I-405 to I-90 to I-84 (Ellensburg) to I-82 to I-15 down though SLC straight through to Las Vegas.... Just off the top of my head, and I think Hwy 93 south from the I-82 may quicker tho.... I'd hafta look at a map though since its been several years since I've been down through that country and I've been drinking all evening so my mind's rather scrambled :redneck
*Edit: Wow what a night... Road's are good right now and the US is really good at keeping them clean in the winter so I wouldn't worry about it. If you do run the route I suggested be careful south of Ellensberg, WA down to Yakima on the 82, it gets icey as hell up there when the weather gets bad. There's the old highway down below, just keep an eye out for the signs and its a great road. Trucks are only allowed to run it in the winter months and I used to run it all the time anyways when we could because there were less hills and its way more scenic. LR
