Will Mohawk gas help? Maybe some Methyl Hydrate? New sparkplugs?
I am already running 20W50, is there anything thicker?
Maybe a case of :beer for the guy doing the testing?
Getting a motor from a clean '94 with 150,000km on Monday.

I'm not sure they will test a vehicle that is smoking excessively.. but if they do try to get the 3 month conditional pass..

Usualy if it smokes noticably (obviously they wont rev it to 10K) they wont even pass it.

don't even bother trying to get that passed. Just swap in the new motor.

Does it smoke all the time? Or just on start up?

Thanks guys. I just posted that for fun. The new motor (150,000km) should be showing up today or tomorrow. Unfortunately, the boss is sending me out of the country next week, so I have to wait till then to put it in. This weekend though, a bunch of us guys are going camping. I believe I have been relegated to the back of the line :( Put in a can of the Gunk Stop Smoke, and it worked 90% for a couple hundred km.
I bought a "limited speed, for temporary use only" spare car for a couple weeks too.
