Wildlife Rehab

My wife and I have been doing wildlife rehab and we're running out of cages etc. If anyone has anything that will help house/hold critters and they have no use for them we'd sure like to take them off your hands. We'll pick them up as well.
Doesn't really matter on the condition. I can patch them up. And size doesn't matter because we get all sizes of animals. Right now we've got an OPossum and a mink. We've done everything from seagulls to racoons to horses so anything helps.

Anything helps. If we're called out to pick up an animal those are great. We do this as a hobby so have no sponsors or anything. Everything is out of pocket and the critters chew, eat and all sorts of things to the cages (They don't last long LOL).

Aw!!! I want to do that. Wonder if my landlord would mind. Good on you folks! I really would help, but I like sorta far away.

All I have to say about minks is mind your fingers!

(oh, and for feed try Bosley's and the like, if you don't already... They can't sell expired food [which is still consumable], so they give it away to shelters.)

The mink broke free and ran for freedom. I still don't know how it got out of it's cage but it did. I was going to release it this weekend but oh well. Now I just have to count the chickens every morning. I'm glad too that I put him in the cage outside the night before.
I can only imagine the scream I'd let out waking up and seeing it sitting on my chest smiling at me. LOL
Where is bosley's located. I didn't know about the expired food thng.

I know someone that used to wrok there, and apparently they do this (or at least they used to).

There are a few Bosley's around, check the Yellowpages. The one I'm thinkin about is in PoMo off Barnet Hwy. But check with Petcetera or other type places around Chilliwack, too. They may be able to help you out!
