Sorry guys its not 4x4 related at all. But i need suggestions.....

For months we have had no rain and 9 days before i get married the forecast is rain all next week including the day of my wedding. We had plans of going to white rock beach for pics but thats out of the question now. Does anyone know some place in surrey/langley area were we could possibly go for wedding pics?

There's a gazebo thingy in Bear Creek Park that might be suitable. Kinda tacky but you can't afford to be picky at this point.

You might consider checking out some churches, too.

check the local hotels maybe one of them has a nice set of steps or something. I think the ramada here in abby has a cool set of steps that gets used from time to time for wedding photos.

I was gonna recommend that farm but thought you already knew of it based on the pic I posted in another thread (http://bb.bc4x4.com/attachment.php?s=&postid=632287).

That was taken at the Elgin heritage farm on Crescent Rd. Looks nice in that photo, but if its a grey day in the background, it may not look so great even if you guys are dry.

The suggestion about a hotel is a good one. Some hotels have rather nice lobbies. Perhaps have a look in the big pink hotel in White Rock (off of the King George Hwy, less than a km north of Marine Dr).

My sisters booked us a room in the travellers hotel in langley for the night of the wedding. Taken a look at there web site it does not look to bad. We might end up there. www.travellershotel.com

But i think tommorow i look at Elgin heritage farm.

Fort Langley?

We did some really cool pics for my sister's wedding at the old train station in PoMo... They turned out awesome. Is there one of those in Surrey/Langley?

I stayed there on my wedding night! I was amazed that there was a place that nice in Langley. I'm shure there's a few places there for some nice pics. I went to sendell gardens just off 200th, but that was on a sunny day.
