Like I said, I have a really big ziploc of salmon roe. Caught them on sunday. Seemed like a waste to toss it, but I don't use it for bait I use wool. I'm in Kelowna. Anyone want it to cure or for caviar? Come get it. If no one wants it I'll just toss it in a couple of days.

Borax it and save it for egg balls.

Had real good luck with wool. Never saw anyone with roe catch a fish...

my dad pulled a 64 pound spring out of the vedder with roe, thats all we use,

You'll see egg balls everywhere up here, legal or not. I know lots of folks that swear by em. I stick to lures, spin and glows, and hoochies (the mini fake squid things, not skanks) myself.

It's from the shuswap river...chinook. The roe has been in a big ziploc refrigerated since the 10th. If you are interested let me know.

it will be ruined if you froze it without doing a borax cure. It will turn to mush when you thaw it out
