I think the first list I signed up with was the off-road mailing list and I'm still on it, although I don't read the contents anymore. For some reason I just don't want to cancel my subscription. I found the sign-up information in an Internet book (the Dummies' guide, if you must know). I still remember the first pic that I downloaded from that list! I had to ftp it and it was a pic of a Toyota pickup on some mountain road in California. I remember being blown away by the fact that I could see someone's 4x4 pic via this cool "Internet" thing.
